Meet Lisa and Katie, Executive Directors

Lisa Saucier, RN

I’m a registered nurse with 18 years of experience, mostly in hospice and palliative care. I graduated in 2005 from Walla Walla University with a B.S. in nursing. I founded Oregon Care Link to bring together patients with chronic and life-limiting illnesses and caregivers who are called to serve this unique need. My loves are being a mother of three, a pet mom of a golden retriever and two mischievous cats, Taylor Swift singalongs, and bubble tea.

Katie Stirling

I started as a medical assistant, working for 14 years for Providence Urgent Care and Family Practice. I have 8 years of experience as a senior caregiver with a focus on hospice and memory care. I love to connect with families, providing comfort during a difficult time. I spend my spare time with my children, husband, and dogs Nova and Buster. Hiking trails and beaches are some of my favorite places. I took a trip with my son to Italy this summer, where we learned to make pizza!

Our mission is to intervene with the systemic changes faced by the homebound and end-of-life community.

  • Elders living alone and declining, with very limited income, but without Medicaid, so they can’t afford caregiving.

  • People who are cared for by a spouse who is unable to provide the complexity of their care, and the worry of being separated by placement to a higher level of care.

  • The lack of available caregivers and the need for more education and mentorship for new caregivers, so they feel more confident than we did early in our careers.
